Description of environment

Camping Altomira is situated between 2 Natural Parks: Espadán and Calderona, in the heart of the Alto Palancia. The campsite is 25 km. away from the Mediterranean Sea, a perfect place for those who enjoy trekking and bicycle tours. There is direct access to the Green Route of Ojos Negros that connects the entire Alto Palancia area with 65 km. of trekking routes. We have a swimming pool in a truly lovely area, in the middle of a pine grove in the centre of the campsite, for the enjoyment of all.

Interesting visits

Only 2 km. away from the campsite you will find El Pantano del Regajo; it is possible to visit this lake also walking or cycling through the Vía Verde de Ojos Negros. We also recommend the visit to the town of Navajas due to its proximity, where you can visit all the fountains and the famous 60m waterfall known as El Salto de la Novia. Segorbe is an interesting place to visit. This town has an historic patrimony and is famous for its entrance of bulls and horses, declared a festive activity of international tourist interest. It is possible to visit the longest navigational underground river of Europe, located in La Vall d´Uxó; Sagunto with its impressive castle; Teruel; Castellón and Valencia. We recommend you to visit the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.

In the surroundings of the campsite it is possible to carry out many activities related with nature: trekking, bicycle tours, mountain climbing, paint ball, canoeing, quad routes, archery, horse riding, etc.
